When to change fuel filter and pcv valve?
Just wondering? 2000 es with 120,000 miles.

Fuel filter or PCV replacement are not included in the regular scheduled maintenance for the ES300 until 180 months or 150 K.

it's not a bad idea to change them, but the fuel filter is not an easy job.
you are better off letting a mechanic do it for you.

Given the sludge potential history of this model, I would definitely change the PCV valve.
It's less than $20.00 at Lexus and an easy 5 min. DIY job. No tools required.

Once a year on both.
PCV valve takes less then 2 minutes to replace and fuel filter 20-30 min.
Around $4-5 for the pcv valve and around $20 for a fuel filter.
