Check your tranny fluid level. It should only take 3.5 qts or at least, that is what mine takes each time.

Quick wash and wax, and cleaned the leather seats as best i could with meguiar leather wipes, the seats are already in really nice shape, didn't realize how light these are. Also did a transmission drain and fill and I got out a little more than 4 qts, which seemed like a lot, but who knows, i believe this is the first time its been changed ever at 64k miles, probably do another drain and fill next week.

I have done alot since i last posted on here hehe. I will start off with this retrofit i did its the Morimoto Mini D2S 3.0 Square projector. Only bad thing about this is the limited shrouds they have for this projector i have tried 2 of them and even with heavy modification it wont fit! And heres a pic of the output

Changed my cabin air filter today.

Also changed out my Mobil 1 Synthetic oil after six months. I don't drive the Lexus as much as the Solara, so the time elapses before the mileage. Replaced with Valvoline conventional 5W-30 for summer.

First time using an OEM Toyota filter (after hearing how bad the FRAM ones I used to use were). Pretty neat they include the drain bolt gasket in the box, and the rubber seal comes pre-oiled .

Tire rotation, new air filter, wash, and put on a rustoleum rock guard crystalline clear spray, it's not pretty but I figured it would be good considering I will be driving to Maryland and Long Island in the upcoming week so it'll help prevent rock chips (I hope). I was debating taking the GS, the ES is so much quieter

Awesome retrofit, ZeusES300! Our cars are identical. Can you post some more pics of the front with the lights on?

I've never seen an drain plug inside my Toyota(Lexus) filters. Not sure if that's something your dealer is doing or if mine has been removing them and charging extra.

The dealership I work at has them inside as well. But before I worked here and would buy them online, they never came with them in the box.

It comes with a drain bolt gasket, not the actual plug/bolt.

I was impressed too, as I never used those gaskets and my drain plug didn't come with one.

That's what I meant. I've never received a gasket inside my oil filter and I bought them from multiple Lexus dealers.
