Changed the oil. Replaced front sway bar links and bushings (Moog Problems Solvers and OEM bushings). And also painted my two front brake calipers. Let's see how long they last, because I didn't do a very good job prepping them.

Been waiting for a week for a window regulator to get to a shop my car hasn't been driven for about a week and is just sitting in the lot. I hate driving it around without the door panel, and i could remove it and put it back on easily but theres no point since i am just using my friends Camry

New; spark plugs [NGK iridium]
Mann fuel filter [***** to get at]
Moog balljoints
Transmission drain&fill - dummy at dealer told my mech its not servicable, so i didn't want to leave it for later, so i drain & filled it for now... might do it end of summer where i take out the gasket/filter...
Cleaned TB's/manifold
Changed oil

***found out that the VVTI motors have no need for spark plug wires of any sort. I went with it from Rockauto - but VVTI motors are direct fire on all cylinders...

Oh yeah, went to my local 'pull it yourself yard' since they just got in a 99 es300, got myself a spare amp, new license plate light [my housing was cracked all over], inner engine cover with the writing to replace my dented one, where i managed to crack the side of it, time to epoxy it back into place

Need to swap the belts [PS & Alternator], and need to figure out a way for replacing the intake hoses [2.5" x 4" for the little ones going into TB's, and 3.5"x3" from airbox fyi] probably going to get some turbo piping.

Just get them from a dealer, they aren't that expensive.

^I don't even want to waste time... Lexus dealer -7$ for T4 Toyota - 5.15$

In my region Toyota can't get anything for Lexus nor service... I don't even want to see the price in Canada when it's 20$ each for the little ones on Sewell...

Bought myself a set of Gear Wrenches($40 for 7) after spending hours dealing with the front sway bar. So today I finally decided to do the rear one. First off, I stripped the insides of the bolts where the allen key is supposed to go. Went out and bought a Dremel tool($100) to cut the nuts off. The tool is great and I got the sway bar links off the struts, but still have them connected to the bar. (a little trickier to work in that area). Decided to unbolt the sway bar brackets and broke one of the bolts - so now I will need to drill that out.

Looked at all the work that will need to be done and decided that reusing the old corroded sway bar just didn't make much sense. So I placed an order on a Whiteline 20mm RSB ($150).

So in the end, I'm out of $290 and the car is worse than it was this morning.

p.s.: On the plus side, the front calipers are still looking great.

Got my Whiteline swaybar today.

OEM vs Whiteline

16mm vs 20mm
5.6lbs(2.6kg) vs 9.6lbs(4.4kg)

I will let you know how it feels, once I get that broken bolt out of the car.

I washed mine on Sunday.

On Monday, I come out from work only to see the entire covered in bird droppings. Purple and greenish. On a white car. Eww. They must have been eating some berries or something....

So I came home and gave the car a good hose down, and didn't park under the tree today. Weird because I parked there all summer without any bombings .

Had that happen to me once, only difference is I parked under a light pole. Purple/greenish bird poop is more acidic than regular white poo. It's good that you washed it off immediately.

1. Installed my H&R springs about 3 weeks ago
2. Washed the car yesterday
3. My 25mm wheel spacers should arrive any day, and I'll install them on the rear wheels
4. Gotta change the oil in about 50 miles
4. Next step is to buy a pair of 6x9's and assemble my new sound system
5. Then I'm ordering a Whiteline front sway bar and installing it (after I pay for my speeding ticket of course )
