You can keep refinishing it whenever the yellowing returns, just keep in mind that after each application the return time will get shorter and shorter. The reason being is that you are removing the protective UV coating from the headlight with the use of sand paper/polishes. The only true way to stop the yellowing is to replace the headlight, as far as I know. I have heard of people applying some sort of protective coatings to the face of the headlight, but I don't know how effective they really are.

I was skeptical and thought the only way to get clean lenses was to replace the headlight casings.

Happy to say I was completely wrong...the lens is clear again with no yellowing or cloudiness. I didn't think to take pictures but trust me it worked.
If you have them clearcoated it will make them new again. Here with every wash the polish comes off bit by bit.

Today I fixed my sticky throttle. It turned out to be the bent metal piece that you gas it with under the hood- that houses the throttle cable as it meets the throttle body.

Then I removed the drivers door panel and found that I couldnt open the door from the outside because of a weak little plastic piece that holds the rod from the handle. Just bad design or just someone loved slamming the door shut, who knows? The piece is supposed to be $10 at the stealership and tomorrow I'll put back in its proper place.

Placed ANOTHER order for MORE parts today with rockauto.
Ball joints, power steering belt (just because) and NGK plug wires. This will be done next week sometime.

This week to do; spark plugs, fuel filter, trans gasket/filter/drain & fill, transaxle gear oil change, as well as oil change.

Replaced hood supports. Had a problem with the supports from Advance Auto. The drivers side corner of the hood where the support is was sitting high put the passenger side was ok. I swapped supports and the drivers side was still sitting high. I returned them and got a set from Pep Boys, much better. Rotated the tires and cleaned the MAF. When i removed the MAF i could not see the wires unless i used a flashlight. After i cleaned it i was able to see them without the flashlight

Was sitting inside at work. Wasn't really expecting that.

On the plus side, this will get me a nice, clean, unscratched windshield... for about 3 days til I get pelted by gravel on the Interstate or something. Maybe a golf ball this time.
Last 2 cars I've had both has small cracks or scratches right in front of the driver. Even this one had a few scratches that would prism in the right light. They need to hurry up with the transparent aluminum.

Replaced the PCV Valve. Glad I did - old one didn't have much 'play' in it.
