I think it'd look good, but there's a chance it'll look stupid. Either way, it would cost no more than 40 dollars to do it well, so it's not a big risk if I do it. But if someone has any pictures, I'd love to see them.
This is literally the only one I've been able to find on the Internet, and it has stupid rims.

Mine's almost the same color, just a little bit darker gray, so I think black lights would go well with it, especially since I just got window tint on it a few days ago.

In my own opinion I think blacked out tail lights look bad a**. I used to have them on my black 98 lexus es300 but I got pulled over cuz they were too dark. I'm planning on doing it again but just going over the lights with 2-3 coats. Make sure you put clear on the lights if you paint them.

I wasn't planning on painting them - film tint is a lot easier to remove if I ever sell the car so I was either gonna buy some film and cut it myself or take it to a tint shop and see if they could do it more professionally.
But I was planning on going pretty black with mine so that little to none of the previous red color shines through. They do look pretty badass if they're done right, I just think a lot of people do a messy job on them and put them on cars that aren't the right color for it. White, black, silver or gray - any shades of those look good with it.
