I originally posted this in the audio forum but that doesn't seem to get as much traffic so I thought I'd re-post here...

I have never used bass blockers nor have I used the amp crossover other than for a subwoofer. What I'm wondering is if anyone has used the hi-pass for the mains and lo-pass for the sub and had it work okay without leaving a major dip or peak in the music. Say setting the sub lo-pass to 200 hz and the mains crossover to hi-pass 170 hz or something like that. If that works well I'd rather do that than put a cheap capacitor inline on my speakers....

Anyone have any experience here?

What you are asking is def in the wrong thread. Website for that matter. It has nothing to do with a Lexus, let alone an ES300, but i have experience.

speakers (depending on if they can produce good bass or not), they should be at HP, if not FP(if good woofer driver). Bass should always be LP dedicated to low frequencies. hope this helps.

also, you LP is set way too high....set it no more than 120 at the most. even that may be too high depending on your setup. mine is at 80 Hz for the subs.
