Hey guys, I have an idea I want to run past you! I have been long looking for aftermarket mufflers and stuff. But then I had an idea. What if I do a muffler delete and with dual exhausts and then have dual tips coming out. Can anyone photoshop this on my ES?

I like your setup, but i'm talking about two pipes with dual tips. Not just two tips. Sort of like this:

Honestly, it would look good. Some would argue without a lip kit it would look weird, but check the thread over in the ls400 section, a VIP build and a guy did just that on his LS with cutting the proper holes in the bumper (gotta have symmetry) otherwise it woul look dumb one site with an oem cutout and the other without!

Thanks for the feedback! also, how loud do you think it'll be? my friend has a similar setup on his gs430 and maaaaahn that is one mean exhaust sound. the Es is 3.0l so it wont be too loud, would it?

I have seriously considered doing this (have my bumber cut out at a bodyshop and a dual exhaust tip with no muffler installed to have daul exhaust with muffler bypass) but after measuring it all, I found that it couldn't be done properly and nicely without having to press in/beat in or cut into the plastic spare tire holder because it is in the way of where the pipe would run and therefore I would be left without a spare tire and a damaged spare tire holder and I didn't want that.

You could run the pipe under the spare tire holder and then back up to the bumper and out but it would look stupid IMO and the pipe would be closer to the ground compared to the other side. Or you could run the pipe next to the spare tire holder but then the tip would be too far to the left and wouldn't match the other side.

Good luck to whoever gives it a try. Post pics if it works out....or even if it doesn't...lol

So i just came back from the exhaust shop and the guy wasnt really friendly. Basically he told me what Jamesbond01 told me. He said it would look really uneven, however he said its doable. The guy prtyy much wanted to half-a$$ everything. In the end, he quoted some crazy huge price for the job. I just decided i'll sleep on it and see what other exhaust shops say.

the most i would go is a double single out on each side, but even that may be too much and not worth the cost. i feel the 4 outs like the M3 would be entirely too much. we have a nice luxury entry sports car (EconomySport) but it is far from a GS. If you had a GS, by all means, do it.

Excuse my french, but F*** that muffler man. anyone who complains that much, dont put money in their pocket.

Take this picture with you and tell them this is exactly what you want, or something similar

Lol you have a good point with the economysport! But, IMO i like the 4 tip setup, but as always, each person has their own view on something.
