try rubbing alcohol or some product that is used to clean the outside of the car but that has citrus in it..i think the rubbing alcohol might work and if it does remove it ...clean it off with some interior product..armor all, meguiars, autoglym, etc...lets see

Hello and congrats on your find. If you do decide to paint the car just make sure you do it right. I do have to agree with the others it does look great as is. I would wait for some scratches or something before painting it. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Goodluck.
