Nice find. As the owner of a well maintained 1999 ES300 coach edition, it is good to know that these cars can run that long. Enjoy!

UPDATE: installed a new right control arm, and the lurching left/right has stopped! However a new problem has arisen: The car has bad death wobble/shaking at about 65mph+. Also the steeringwheel is way off (alignment) but I expected that. I just keep thinking "omg its something serious", but my friend insists its the alignment... thoughts? oh also, the clunking noise in the rear is seemingly getting worse after replacing the swaybar bushings, Im thinking its either the links or the strut mounts... ugh. the list goes on. lol.

RXG300, this price is super slick and the car look still sexy.

Question: how do you fix the radio display? I have the same issue.
Also, my car looks sexy from the sides, but it has suffer some clear coating burn on the hood and trunk after. Any suggestion on repainting entire car? thanks.

the radio LCD is $100 direct from pioneer. Ive heard its just plug and play, take the old out and plug the new one in. much better than ripping the dash apart and putting a ****ty Aftermarket HU in.

As to paint, I love the 2 tone on my car... personally I think straight oyster will look strange... the only place the paint isnt shiny and clean in on the trunk lid, so I might look into ordering some of the paint and sanding it down but theres no way im painting my entire car, it looks too good.

hey just an FYI, after digging thru the FSM, i discovered that the 2tone for Oyster Pearl is called Light Brown Gray Metallic, #UCAA2. maybe you can get that color matched? idk. good luck! im curious to see what it looks like. *edit* found it. http://www.robertspaintcare.com/deta...o=1557&an=1998

in other news, I took my drill and 3M headlight cleaner kit to my ES, and she now has sparklin new eyes! looks great. will def take pix.

sadly thou the suspension is making all kinds of horrible noises and i suspect all the strut mounts are shot. i know the rear struts are only 3yrs old, but the fronts are most likely original. hopefully I can get them fixed soon. however before that happens, i have to do the timing belt... like NOW. it hasnt been done since 104k. which means the belt now has 140k miles on it. lol

Update: Timing belt is done, and inside the covers is filthy. oil everywhere. replaced the crankshaft seal but couldnt get the cams off to replace the cam seals. after putting it all back together, theres now a horrible metallic noise coming from the rear camshaft area... I can only describe it as jingle bells sounding. which just freakin thrills me. on the plus side the engine is def running better and has more power, so i guess theres always that. did the waterpump/coolant change too and it now runs a mark cooler than it was before.

oh and to make things just that much better, I picked up a set of mint condition stock chrome rims with goodyear tires for 220$. makes my classy car looks classy yet again!!! very excited. now to figure out why my engine sounds like jingle bells. lol.

im at a loss as to what the noise could be. Ive pulled everything apart 3x now, replaced the idler roller, retorqued the upper idler. pulled and reseated the belt. and it still makes this noise. whats strange is it doesnt do it when the engine is cold, only after it warms up. i dont get it. ugh. hope it doesnt blow up lol

Looks Great!
Did you have to remove the original paint or do anything to the lower cladding? Also did you add a flex additive or was that not necessary?
Thanks

Hey, did you fix your shaking at 65mph+? I just picked up a 97 as a weekend beater/grocery getter and Im getting the same thing. I had the front two tires balanced again and alligned but it is still pulling to the right a bit and shake has subsided a lil but still there! i told the guys to check out if everything looked ok and they said everything looked fine. i got the usual valve cover leaking, but dont understand why it would go from being ultra smooth in city road to shaking the heck out of u in highway!
