First Lexus?'s
 

Hello my name is Brett i recently just bought a 97 ES 300 with 250,000 miles. The car is in real good shape its real hard to believe it has that many miles and still looks and drives awesome. Anyways my questions since this is my first Lexus let alone car is the track control light is saying its off and wont turn back on for some reason. And the window switches only work on the drivers door. All the windows are working just the controls are messed up. Anyways like i was saying this is my first car the rest of my vehicles have been trucks. Here is a pic of the lexus and my bagged show truck. Hope to get to know you guys and learn alot about these awesome cars.

ohh man i gotta 94 es300 in the same color w the same exact amt miles an my window switches dont work. bought the car for 900 dollas an put a crap loada money in it. so far it's been worth it. good buy:thumbup:

the window is probably the master switch on the drivers door...junk yard

yes i have the check engine light on as well

Hook a code reader to it and that will tell you why your CEL and TRAC lights are on.

did you buy the truck like that?

ok will do on the code reader. And I built that truck. Im 21 and have been working on it since i was 16. This lexus is my first actual car i have had around 9-10 other trucks but im starting a family so i wanted something nice and quality to drive.

Have codes read for no charge at autozone or similar place. Probably an oxygen sensor code if I had to guess since the vehicle seems to be running fine.

So I replaced the upstream o2 sensor last night and then went to autozone reset the check engine light which ended up fixing the traction control light to. Thanks for the help guys
