My Lexus and it's sound system.

I have a pic on another thread showing my deck and was asked about how it was installed and what not. I figured I would show you guys what is in my trunk!

They don't fold in the 00-01's. You have the center armrest that folds down to pop skis in there and that's about it!

Maybe someone else can confirm if their 97-99 ones dont as well?

xsh0tya 04-09-11 08:51 AM

Nope not in 99. Pretty much the same set up as 00-01 have to fold down the rear center armrest to fit anything long in there(Thats what she said... I know:p). My trunk is not functional since my system's box is a BEAST!:woot:

marcoes300 04-09-11 09:24 AM

not in 98 too

That's a nice looking install and I like that spoiler too. Cleaning look car

ikant 04-09-11 03:42 PM

Yea, that's a nice install--no clutter!! Did you do it yourself or had one of outlet "professionals" do it??

apoxc69 04-09-11 11:31 PM

I had a friend from work help me install it, he did most of the work I just watched mostly... I paid him so I didn't feel bad. Also thanks for the comment about my spoiler! I don't see too many es300s around with them!

Ls430es300 04-11-11 05:37 PM

clean look, my wires are all over the place lol

adreano17 04-21-11 01:28 PM

awwwww comeon man, you can't tease the real audiophiles with pics and no specs! :-)

QuachmanES 04-21-11 10:14 PM

Very clean! I have a sub in my trunk too, but the install isn't nearly as clean as yours. I have wires coming from the stock sub to a line-out converter, then to the amp... but I hid most of the stuff behind my sub box since it's pretty big.

Anyways, specs! And how does it sound?

Megafast13 04-22-11 06:09 PM

Very clean man!

The seats don't fold down in the 4th gen ES's either!

Sorry guys for not replying sooner, I haven't been back to the site in a while, I have been busy. Rockford Fosgate Prime R300-4 is the bigger AMP that I have my speaker system connected to. Rockford Fosgate Prime R150-2 is what I have my Rockford Fosgate P1L-1X10 sub connected to. It sounds really crisp and it punches pretty hard, it rattles my spoiler and rear deck third brake like housing pretty badly though. I am thinking about using some sound proof stripping inside of the third brake like housing and I am looking into seeing what I can do about filling my spoiler with some kind of foam or something to reduce rattle vibrations...
