I have a 2002 Lexus ES300 with navigation and the original software. I just bought the DVD Navigatio Map Norther America Update Data Version 10.1. How do I install it? Is it as easy is eject the old dvd, put in the new and follow the prompts on the screen? Does the DVD insert behind the tip up Navi screen or in the trunk inside the Navi brain. Any advice or links to directions would be great.

It also states, "after this update your navigation system will only support map DVD version 'DATA ver.02' and later.

Unless yours is different than mine, you pop out the old disc, slip in the new one. Done.

Did you check your owner's manual?

Did you guys have to have a software/firmware disc in addition to the maps dvd or what? I also have a 2002 lexus es300 and am trying to get the navigation to work.. I bought the updated discs off of ebay for the maps but it's saying unable to read data. Check if dvd map is correct... any ideas?
