I have 1999 es300 and the check engine light and trac light came on , so i went to firestone to get it checked out , they told me it had 3 codes , on p1354, p0330,p0446, so i replaced the 2 knock senors, cam senor,crank sensor, and a engine sensor. i left there and 3 miles later the light came back on , so i went back , they said its a little low on oil so they toped it off and i left again. got home went to bed woke up started the car , then the car started idling at 1.5 rpm and driving very rough and the lights came back on, brought it back to them and they said it jumped timing , so they fixed it and sent me on my way,2 hours later the light game back on , so i went back they told me it has to be the Oil Control Valve (OCV) so i did that 10 mile later the damn light came back on , WHATS LEFT TO DO ?????????

Sounds like the repair shop is a rip off. They should have checked both the OCV's first and not replacing a bunch of expensive sensors at once just because a few codes related to them popped up. It seems that the 1999 ES' are prone to OCV related issues. You said you also did the OCV, but did you do both of them?

i just replaced the the one thats on bank 2 , cuz the code says cylinders 2 4 6 were the ones thats was misfiring ,

now the only code that its trowing out is p0446 and i bought a new gas cap , and i disconneted the battery for 30 seconds to rest the code and i drove it for 15 mile until it came back on with that same code p0446 , does that mean that not what was wrong with it?

Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction

What does that mean?

Evap vent valve has only one purpose. It closes in order to seal the vent so the EVAP system can pressurize and ensure there are no leaks. Evap vent valve is usually supplied Batt. voltage with key on. The ECM's driver controls the ground, and when grounded, activates the valve (closing it). If the ECM detects a short to ground, and open,or a short to battery voltage on the control circuit, P0446 will set. Code also may refer to ECM detecting that EVAP system is unable to achieve or maintain vacuum during test.

Symptoms

There will be no obvious symptoms to driver, other than MIL illumination.

Causes

A code P0446 could mean one or more of the following has happened:

Faulty vent valve
Open, short or excessive resistance on Vent valve control circuit
Blockage of vent valve
Bad PCM

Possible Solutions

With a P0446 OBD-II trouble code, here are some things to try:

Replace Vent valve
Repair open, short, or resistance problem in control circuit
Repair open, or short, or resistance problem in power circuit
Replace PCM

There are several VSV valves, not just one, so a P0446 code is tricky to diagnose, unless diagnosed properly. Exceptionally, the best people to diagnose this particular code is Lexus, as they exclusively have the specific test equipment to quickly and easaly pinpoint the cause.

An independent garage with a smoke machine would be my second choice.

A defective gas cap, could also cause a P0446 to appear.

Unless properly diagnosed first, you will be throwing at it parts and labour for nothing.

I had P0446 the other day but cleared it and double checked the gas cap to make sure it's tighten but it hasn't returned in this pic can anyone tell me which VSV is the one related to Charcoal canister?

I already know that the far left lower feeds the EGR system.
I will test it...I repaired a P0141 and it was the EGR VSV and modulator but on a 96 Camry but same code showed up here..but on my 96 es300 it was the modulator only...the EGR VSV is open when not powered but closes when power applied. Is this the case for the other 3 VSV?

To the OP that shop is ripping you off I wouldn't return there..rule of thumb after first repair if you have to return due to code showing up quickly after work done it's highly recommended that you google possible fixes...emission issues can cost you alot in repair if done by a shop..many times small research will save you unnecessary cost of labor.

On my 96 it's on top of engine under small grey/silver plastic cover with Lexus on it held by 2 nuts that an allen wrench opens
