powerbastards.com HO alt

will this fit? http://powerbastards.com/proddetail....od=Fitzall-220

do i really need the harness that goes into the factory alt? what will be the penalties of not having it, i.e. check engine light. and all that. thanks.

If you only need a little more power, the Sienna and Highlander 100A and 130A, are a direct bolt on.

i seen about that, but my car is power hungry. and that won't do. do you know what are the causes of no harness to the alt?

I don't understand the question.

there is a harness attatchment to the factory alt. what are the purposes for that. if left disconnected, will i get a check engine light, or will something not work, etc

You'll have the battery light on the dashboard on for sure. I'm pretty sure you have to have it hooked up. I'm not sure exactly what the other wires on it do.

There should be places that have bolt on HO Alternators for the car. I need to talk to a couple Audio friends that have done it.

ASG14 Feb 13, 2011 08:49 PM

One has a Camry, the other a 550whp RX7 and Daily Driver Sentra, lol. His old Sentra had 2 Alternators and had to use a Generator in the back seat for the competitions to keep it going. I have some wackey friends......
