'99 ES totaled while parked- suggestions for new car

in terms of look, still think 200/2001 has better look than 2002-04, the front end just doesn't work for me
or go with 05 has better rear light layout.

I agree with most- I like the looks of the 2000-01 better than the 02-04's. However, I made the decision to buy a different (gasp) car. After looking at 2 ES's and an Acura TSX (which was only 3 years old and BEAT), I saw my friend was selling his 325xi bimmer. With great reviews (besides some maintenance), I decided to buy it on Monday. It worked out good because I just don't have time to seek out the perfect ES. And I'm excited about owning this car in particular because it has been babied.

It is in the garage now and it really is thrilling to drive. I hated to leave the Lexus community, but may be back (and the wife still has her '01 RX so I'm not gone completely). Thanks all for your help and support!

Def a sweet ride... I almost bought a bmw the 3 series was a bit small for me.. Im a tall dude and the 540 I was looking at loved the gas station too much. But def fun to drive with the handling that makes you want to put on driving gloves.
