Second, i like the look of the "amber JDM corner lights" Civic-style, so i tried it out, and its staying. I'm still on the fence about the tails... so those might come off, or stay we shall see.

Last, why would i trade up my superior 01 tails, for some lowly '97 ones?

This is more unique, since only my turns are amber and the center is clear still... I hate the 'amber-clear-amber' of the older tails.

I'd like to see not so close up shots of the front signals. I seen amber glass spray tint that may give a nicer look. I previously used Red spray tint on my old 97 tails to get rid of the amber and the results looked excellent. That Film you have on there stands out ALOT.
This should give you an idea but they will fade over time though perhaps needing some clear coat on top.

Its a great idea, but i feel that the film you choose does looks kind of like you put orange masking tape, over the the light, you may want to try a less opaque film, for the front or just use the spray tint. But for the tail i don't really like it hahaha OFF WITH IT JK, but really, again maybe try a less opaque film, probably look better too

My goal was to get the film close to this:


After countless amounts of vinyl, this was the best my friend was able to create... I am assuming it is going to fade out more within a couple of weeks, after all, the sun does take a toll on these parts...

First: Why would you want to make a Lexus look like a ricer Civic ?

Second: Why trade your 01 tails ? You already are making them look like 97's so whats the difference ?

Third: Canadians are weird....

And take out that Astra Motors decal thing off the trunk....

The corners don't look that bad, but I think the tails look way better the way there were. Like said before, it looks like your trying to make it look like the 97 tails instead of the 01 that they are. Just my .02

Not taking it off. That is where the car is serviced, where it was bought, and my friends' shop.

Call me crazy but it marketing, and people notice, since my car is always spotless.

I'm not trying to get it looking like a Civic, i just thought the idea of the amber front turn signals would be dope, and i like them.

I am still waiting on the taillights. If i don't like them, i will peel them off.

I have noticed on the other car forums I'm on, that the full amber corners seem to be making a come-back. Kudos for doing something a little different than everyone else. But like I said, those tails are a little iffy for me. I would change them back, but they are a "different"

Personally I like how it is stock. The clear is better than the yellow in my opinion. Civics are the most hideous contraptions on the face of this earth so don't do anything that resembles any part of a civic. But to each his own...

But on a side note I really like your wheels on your ES.

Like Limen said, I have also seen a few people on the forums I am on doing full amber corners too.
