Noob here with a question about interior temp
Hey all - I have a 98 ES300 gold color. Approaching 130K miles, good car. I have a blacked out radio display (common problem eh?) a strut that goes thunk when it's cold outside, and a interior fan question.
I don't like to use my A/C when it's cool enough outside to suit my needs. Most of the time I roll down the windows and the sunroof and let the fresh air in. However, when it rains, I can't do that, so I put the temperare control on COLD or a low setting, and select the button that takes air from outside the car. The problem is, that it seems to be warm even though I selected cold. I know the outside air is cooler because I can feel it if I roll down the windows. It's like I'm not really getting outside air, or it's being warmed as it comes into the passenger cabin. Is this a common issue? |
No love for the noob!
If my original post was too long and you need cliffnotes: My vent blows warm air even when the temp control is on cold. I know the air is cooler outside the car - what gives? |
