1999 ES300 lights

Hey all, I'm brand new here, and technically, don't have my ES yet. I'm planning on buying my aunt's 1999 ES300 (with only 82k miles!) this summer, but I'm super excited and just wanted to say hi and run one thing by all you experts :D

I'm planning on replacing the high, low and fog lights with HID (probably from DDM). I basically know very little about cars, I usually leave that up to my college roommate haha, but alas I'm home for the summer so he can't advise me.

Here's what I was thinking, but I'm completely open to suggestions (remember, I don't know anything!):

Fog: 35W 3000K
Low: 55W 6000K
High: 55W 12000K

I'm only considering the 12000K highs because I want a really unique look, and I've barely ever used my highs while driving, so I most likely won't be bothered by the limited visibility range.

Soooo, that's it! Please please please let me know what you think/what I should change!

(:

^^ Yep. You're going to need a projector retrofit or the OEM HID reflector housings in order to run HID's.

Also, and I'm not sure about this, but you may run into some issues running HID high beams, since they are used as the DRL light with the high beam running at a lower power.

You dont need to retrofit or need to get hid housing, but i would recommended it, its just to reduce the amount of glare you get from reflectors, if you aim them correctly you should be fine.

Secondly, Low and fogs is fine, but you high beams you will be running into to some problems, but i don t know if the 99 had drl or not, if they do then yea you might have some problems there

Good luck
