Not sure about the 3rd gen ES, but most OEM HID's are 4300k. Bright white, with a touch of blue.

I'd skip out on yellow. But that's just me. I still have them temporarily, and ordering up an HID kit soon for a new color

Everyone and their grandmother has the yellow fogs, its getting too played out IMO, but whatever floats your boat. Just look on this forum how many people have yellow bulbs/HID in their fogs... lol

This has been discussed countless times on the forum, so do as you choose since both work out to near identical MPG/cost per tank.

^ neither; I am in Canada.

And yes it has been discussed on here, you just gotta search for it.

One of our more 'techy' members, did a test to see the cost/MPG - 'benefit' of both grades.

It worked out like this; you pay more for the 91 octane - and you DO get a few more miles out of the car.
87 octane - you get the average mileage to be expected, but pay less, yet yield a few less miles than the 91 octane.

---
Another member swore he lost mileage, since it is known that 'higher' octane numbers = fuel burning faster and not necessarily more efficiently.

I suggest googling this to come to your own conclusion on the matter.

Nice car..

I have to disagree with specter about getting chrome wheels though. I think that will be overkill. Your wheels now are nicer. The intake weapon-r makes doesn't give any gains, but it sounds nice, not rice. You can't really hear it unless you floor it. I say find some classy looking alloys. Get a tint that's just a little bit darker than legal, and tint the windshield by 70%. 70% is so light you can't even tell the tint is there and it protects your dash from fading. It also helps block out glare.

I too am jealous of your projectors and hids, clear 00-01 tails, and fogs/bumper. I think the color of your current hids look good enough. If I were you I would just keep it clean and what my friend calls, "OEM fresh" Washing your car frequently is one of the best mods you can do.

Oh I forgot to tell you guys the worst thing about this car is the previous owner lost its original master key. I have to value key, one for the ignition, and one for the door. I was thinking the cheapest way to carry one key is get a car starter kit so I can you the locker/unlocker.

will a keyless entry work?

^^ Keyless will work. I was looking at getting an autostarter combo for winter... And i was quoted 560$ CAD. Something to do with splicing the OEM wiring/security system...

Naturally i said, **** that for that price.

And the cheapest this key would run you is IIRC in the range of 200$ ~ish

Don't do it! My dad had the keyless autostarter for the winter for his truck.. The splicing into the oem wiring/security system messed with it and made the truck lock up completely and not let him in everytime he used it.
