Hello everyone just joined this forum and have a question about a problem with my 99 es300.
When my car is in reverse and then I put it in drive a strange bottoming out scrape grind noise is coming from the front bottom of the car (feels like it's by my feet). It happens everytime I drive forward about 10-15 feet and only half a second. Plus when I hear that noise the headlights dim. Anyone heard of this before?? Tranny issues? The car changes gears perfectly so I dunno. Really stressing out. Thanks everyone. Oh and sometimes if I'm reversing it happens then won't happen when I drive forward

 

So no one has dealt with thus before? I'm really worried it's the transmission bit can't understand how the lights are affected...
