Heard of this? Lexus es300 acceleration loss 65-75mph any comments or solutions
 

i have a old Lexus es300 with about 240,000 miles on it so i cant complain about the problems well taken care of car but driving around 65mph i have lost acceleration power in my car. I cant accelerate i press the peddle and my rpms go way way up but i don't accelerate. i can pull over to the side of the road turn my car off turn it back on and can accelerate fine again. anyone have similar problems or a solution to this problem?

what do you mean you turn if off and restart it and then at that speed it doesn't have the problem... what is the problem....?

lexus es300, 1994, automatic, im driving then i lose acceleration power i cant accelerate anymore i have no power to make the care move anymore. so i go to the break down lane. turn off my car. turn it back on and then i can accelerate again. it has only happened about 4 times now but happens randomly there was no patterns on the amount of time driven one time it was on a 3 hour trip one time it happened on a 15 minute trip.
