Default 2002 ES300 Flashing AC Light

The indicator light on the AC button on my ES300 periodically flashes. And when it does, my AC doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I used this guide and fixed mine last summer -- took about 5 minutes to change out.

Default A/C Working Again!

My A/C wouldn't work one day; the light on the AC button was flashing. I came to the forum.

I went to the local NAPA Auto Parts with the information I took from this forum, purchased a magnetic clutch relay, took out the old one and installed the new one with needle nose pliers, and now my air is as good as new. I paid $24 in Austin, Texas.

I just want to thank each one of you for sharing you knowledge and experiences. I know I saved a lot of money for about three minutes of work!

Default A/C Light Flashing and hot air is blowing

I have Lexus ES300 2002 model. Couple of days back, A/C light started to flash then A/C used to off. I have already changed the Relay but it is not working. If I turns on A/C then it blows hot air and then after a few moments A/C light start blinking and then it goes off.

Do I need to refill the A/C cooling Gas.

Default 2002 ES300 Flashing AC Light

Thanks for the suggestion. It worked for me as well.
Replaced the A/C Control Relay in the fuse box.

My original Magnetic relay switch had Toyota part number 90987-02022.

After this forum link suggested replacement part number: 90987-02028

Searched on https://www.napaonline.com/ website
with following part number 90987-02028

- Bought this aftermarket relay switch and installed it myself and the
AC unit started working and cold air was coming.

Thanks for your help.

(P.S.: I tried changing the cabin air filter to see if that fixes, it did not help)
( I tried doing an AC recharge myself by getting the canister/gauge from walmart,
but it wasn't working because the AC compressor itself wouldn't turn ON).
Replacing the Magnetic Clutch relay was the fix.
