Gauge cluster issues

Hi,

I have some issues with my gauge cluster, I was replacing my burned out needles for another set of used needles. They light up just fine except the tachometer and worst of all, both speedometer and tachometer does not work . Some spiral that helps move the tach came off when I pulled the needle out gently (which is the result of failure).

Speedmoeter needle lights up as well as both fuel and temp gauges working fine. The speedometer does not move either. No check engine or ABS lights present since I maintain my car very well.

Is there any specific items to repair these issues? Any cluster repair places anyone would recommend to send out for repair? Or what does everyone suggest since its very hard to track down a cluster for a 5 speed model. Opinions are welcome.

whatever part you lost you take from another car, like a junkyard. tell me why you cant do that

I can fix it but don't wanna f*** it up more than what I'm dealing with. Haven't taken apart a gauge cluster in awhile. Did that on my old 94 Corolla to replace a temp gauge. I'm sure auto cluster parts may fit my MT cluster, may have to look 4 one this weekend.

why wouldn't the parts fit? the only difference is the writing on the face that has a differemt RPM limit, and the gear indicator. correct me if i'm wrong.

gerson, you can fix a stupid gauge cluster. lol

Probably is just the gear indicator that is different but RPM is the same. Ok I will fix it to remedy this issue. Maybe swap in new bulbs too while the cluster is out.

the redline is different , in my memory of it anyway, but if you say its the same fine
