What to look for with a high mileage ES

2500$ is not bad for the year. In Mass though be careful with rusty cars. If the car was not kept in a garage / washed regularly you might have a bit more rust on a 13yr old car... i hate rust personally. All the cars i bought over the years were garaged.
Also, if you pass on this ES - i'd look for a car from rich town (plenty of those in MA), if average town price is >500K-750K$ chances are the owner had $ to keep the car in tip top shape.

Great idea. I actually lost the car. But I learned a lot from this thread. I will check out a rich town in MA. Lol!!
