I did the same exact to my 2000 ES and the only ones that I havent changed or found the right bulb to fit is the visor lights, so if you did those what size LEDS to you use?

DixonPai 07-22-09 10:20 AM

Great job man, now I know how to change the key panel area, thanks

Ariyanna 07-22-09 02:09 PM

Do the LEDs still fade out when they go off? I like how the factory incandescents fade to black when you put the key in the ignition.

Lexucan 07-26-09 07:08 AM

Yeah I like that dimming effect too. Shouldn't be a problem. LEDs dim when the current is lowered just like incandescent bulbs do. It's CFLs (compact flourescent lights) that have a problem with dimming. They are usually either full on or full off. No in between.

whered you get the bulb adapter for the dome light?

tuan92129 07-26-09 08:02 PM

I have purchased from warden jp before, sometimes the 'white' leds vary in color, some have a violet tint to them.
Looks great, especially in a black interior.

the only thing i am missing with my LED's are:

glove compartment, i bought from superbright led's but it was tooo wide, then the vanity mirrors, the other problem i had is the dome light by the sun roof controls and that one was a tint of blue more than the other lights, but non-the-less, lovely application

Are you 100% positive its 41mm cause they look smaller than 41mm?
