I have a Federal and California emissions equipped 99 ES built in 10-98. I have been been searching everywhere since March looking for the Bank 1 cat setup for underneath the engine. This is the unit that contains a coke can like pre-cat and a flex pipe on either side of the Y and about a foot of pipe behind the Y. I was diagnosed at Lexus and have had a terrible time obtaining one that would not set off my OBD/CEL codes. My state has not allowed me to register my car for 4 mos now. I had been shipped 2 different ones that claimed to be right to no avail. I finally by pure luck learned of complete exhaust systems in New York. ( 800-965-0040)The dealer WHOLESALE on this car was 977.00 The one from complete was identical in look, fit and performance and was 366 +22 to ship.

I was told by the dealer that this cat is often the cause of this code and people mistakenly replace 02 sensors that only make the check engine light go off for a few weeks, then right back on. I know there are probably cheaper cats out there but I am very happy with this. I guess a majority of the 99to early 00 models are Calif equipped. Hopefully this may help someone somewhere......
