Hello ! I have a '92 Lexus ES 300. Earlier today I was trying to open my ashtray because it was stuck. I managed to forcefully open it, then some of my change in my ashtray flew out and I was reaching around for it under my car seat. As I was searching, my radio and AC suddenly turned off and has yet to turn back on. I do not know what happened, and I do not know what went wrong but I keep trying to turn them on but it doesn't work =[ the digital clock still works but that is about all. My friend told me I might have loosened a power plug as I was pulling out my ash tray but I am unsure of this. Please help before I die of heat and silence =[

Also, the buttons on the head unit are hard to push sometimes (not when it's really hot out) would I need to take it out and clean the buttons somehow to fix them?

most likely a penny or dime fell in the cig. lighter socket, and caused the fuse to blow. That tends to happen on those models when the coin tray is overfilled. If there is a coin in the socket, dig it out then check the fuse panel near your left knee as you sit in the drivers seat. Most likely your radio fuse is blown.

Thanks. I went to the auto shop earlier and paid way too much to get my fuses replaced. Too bad you couldn't reply earlier, that would have saved me a lot of money =/

i check the fuses and none is blow.i cant get the ac controls or radio to come on,what that might be ifs it not the fuses
