Help With Gauge Cluster 93 ES300
My gauge cluster is not working. I need some specialty help with this, if anyone has any ideas they are greatly appreciated. The car has sat for about 4 years. Started on a dime and engine purs. Runs great, just no gauges.
Here's what it's doing. When the car is on, the gas gauge and temp gauge are working normally. However the temp gauge needle is flickering. Not burnt out flickering, a steady rhythmic pulsing of the light. Almost as if the alarm is going off. However no horn, and car is running, everything else normal. The gas gauge needle is not lit but I imagine it's just burnt out. A few other notifier icons work but the majority are dead and there are no backlights on as well.
Here's what icons work, high beams, oil, airbag, seatbelt, O/D on and off, Shift inicator lights (flashing in time with temp gauge but only Drive, 2, 3)
Looking at the back of the cluster if I unplug the grey harness the plug on the far right, there is no change in the gauge display. However the other plugs give me some changes.
SOOOOO.... any ideas anyone?? Is it a bad ecu? Are their hidden relays or fuses that I don't know about??? anyone? anything?

Thanks for the info, I do have some lighting issues with it. However, I think that the complete failure of he tach and speedo along with the lights and the pulsing rhythm of the lights are indicative of an issue that is somewhere else
