Changing seat heater switch

Just as the title says, i need to change the seat heater switch because it is jammed i do not know why though. I know how o take it out of the console just how do i get it off, and secondly does anyone know where i can get one?

is the switch plugged into the wires, or do you have to cut the wires, because from all the switched i am looking at, it comes with precut wires

i doubt it, most wreckers just dont want to deal with all those plugs, so cutting is the easiest.
i just pulled up my center console the other day and saw some extra plugs taped up, so i figured it was for the seat heater switches. im sure that 92-96 were similar.

I have the same issue. Slide a blade under the top of the switch and pull gently. Then do the same at the bottom of the switch and just pull it up with your hand. I couldn't figure out if you unplug or cut either.

The seat heater switch is connected to a wiring harness that has a connector on the end. This snaps onto the switch's base. you need to find the locking tab on the connector and press it in while pulling the connector loose from the switch. There is probably not enough length to the wiring harness to lift it high enough out of the console to work at it easily, but it is possible to disconnect the switch without cutting the wires. I changed one of my heater switches, so I know it can be done.
