Brakes
:uh: when i hit my brakes with my head lights on they blink is that a bad ground or a sign that the alt is going bad soon??1994 es 300

It's so freakin' typical behavior for our cars. If you searched "dimming headlights brakes" you'd see it's a common thing, but it's not an ailment 99.9% of the time.

my car did the same thing for a lil. but the interior lights and radio started to kinda turn on/off or dim too. turned out my battery terminals where corroded as hell. i kept looking at the alternator so much i jus didnt notice. im not saying thats whats goin on wit ur car, but it wouldnt hurt to give them a little scrub with an old toothbrush or something.
ps. i shouldnt have to say "dont touch both terminals at the same time". but i am. |
