Default Infant car seats in ES300

I have a 2001 ES 300. My wife is having twins and we cannot find an infant car seat that will sit behind the driver's and passenger's seats. They'll fit in the middle, but not directly behind the seats as we need to accommodate 2 babies. Went to Babies 'R Us and the sales person helped me try different car seats, with no luck.

Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve?

Thanks,

Rick

hmmmm I didn't have a problem when my son was born and we had him on the passanger side rear seat. The car seat was one of the ones that comes with a stroller and has a base that you leave in the car. oh and GET A SEAT PROTECTOR

I have an IS300, I might have to turn to an RX or GX in the near future.

My wife and I just had our first child yesterday, and I installed our Chicco KeyFit carseat (Discovery model/color) behind the passenger seat today and it fits great in our 99 ES300. It's great as the baby seat also fits into the stroller system. Very highly rated carseat/stroller.
