Transmission shifting wierd
 

Hey guys my Uncles 1994 ES300 is shiftig very strange, when you are driving first gear wont shift into second until it reaches 5k RPMS :uh: and then it shifts into second, third and fourth fine. Do you guys have any idea what it could be before he takes it to a shop to have it looked at. It almost feels like first gear is stuck.

Same thing used to happen almost all the time before i rebuilt the tranny. Now it happens when i press the gas pedal slowly and with increasing pressure, and it refuses to shift until 4000 rpm.
Maybe its slipping?:sad::uh:
