TRD Rad Cap for ES 330?

Found this on e-bay & was wondering what benefit's (if any) this rad cap would have over the stock one?...

TRD calls their caps 'higher pressure', but it's real benefit is only visual stimulation.

I know that the pressure number (1.3) thats on the cap has to match that of our oem one. We had a car come in with an aftermarket radiator cap with a different pressure number that overheated.

Its just a visual "wow" like DaveGS4 said...Id stick with stock IMHO.

What my colleague DaveGS4 mentioned is also in keeping with my experience as well. I noticed very little if anything adding the cap by itself.

However, after dumping in Redline WaterWetter and the big thing (that is the golden ticket for cooling), a TRD Theromstat, now I can see the difference on the temperature gauge.

Thanks guys!

Lexmex.....I totally agree with you on the Redline WW for the cooling system. Brought the temps down a fair bit in my previous Forester Turbo.
