windshield wiper jets

i was wondering if i can move my jets. i want one of mine to face out wards. so if anyone knows how to do this can u please help me.

Rollin'ES3 Jan 17, 2008 10:34 AM

Yeah you can.

You need a very thin needle type tool, put it inside the jet you wish to move.

Once you move it turn the water jets on and see if you like the way it sprays.

Note: be very careful when you adjust it, the needle can sometimes break inside the nozzle and mess everything up.

ns3425 Jan 17, 2008 10:45 AM

no i mean i want to move the whole thing to make it face another side. not the inside jets. so instead of it facing my windshield i want it to face out. how can i do that?

BadViper22 Jan 17, 2008 10:48 AM

So you can spray other drivers... Why in the world would you do this?:uh:

No, they cannot be aimed outwards..

Rollin'ES3 Jan 17, 2008 10:53 AM

It would look awkward, and you wouldn't have any jets pointing to your windshield if you needed it.

I wouldn't do that. If you wanna spray ppl with water, I would just get a water bottle or a water gun and do the job right.

Still a bad idea IMHO.

Yea they only fit one way dude. I could be wrong but im pretty sure they are supposed to point at the windshield.:D

o. i dunno it was just something i wanted to do not to shoot cars tho. so your saying theres no way to turn them? its cuz i saw another car taht had that once it has them facing out.

Lexucan Jan 17, 2008 12:38 PM

Well this is a new one on me. I know modders like to make changes to their car so it's different from the pack, but turning one of your washer jets around so it squirts your hood instead of your windshield? :egads:

Rollin'ES3 Jan 17, 2008 12:43 PM

You probably could make it face outward, it might look weird tho and not sit right in the groove its supposed to be in.

csaxon Jan 17, 2008 03:11 PM

They simply pop in or out. You can aim anywhere but you'll probably need to re-route the washer fluid hoses.

On most if not all modern cars this can not be done. Now if were talking cars from the 50s-70s yes it can be done my father said he used to do it all this time. Why not retrofit a third sprayer down by where the wiper rests facing outwards to discretly spray other drivers.

good job, seriously. way to lead him on.
