Replacement H7 Headlight bulb does not match stock
I had a headlight go out in my 97 ES300, and every source I found including the manual specified an H7 type bulb replacement. However, after pulling out the stock bulb, it looks very different than the H7. The stock version has a stocky black plastic base with 2 prongs straight out, while the replacement is simply a metal disc retainer with 2 prongs (others have a 90 degree plug connector that does not match the car's socket). Any help on finding and installing the correct bulb would be appreciated.

The plastic piece comes off the old bulb and mounts to the new one.

yeah, what they all said. Charley btw, replace bulbs in pairs is recommended. not necessary, but colors of the two headlights may be off. |
