New tires ~the difference!

I recently put a new set of all 4 tires on my gfs ride.
2002 Acura Tl type-s. I believe the tires are yokohama avid a4?

The car drives so much better with 4 new tires.

Does everyone feel this difference when you get new tires?

Because My 05 Es 330 just doesnt feel as good as it used to be and im wondering if it is the tires. I have 26 k on the original tires and did a rotation recently and now the back tires have less rubber then the tires in the front.

Tires in general could make or break a cars handling.
You should definitely notice better performance once you upgrade
I would research tirerack.com, Lots of reviews on many different brands.

Tires make the biggest difference....It is the first thing to come in contact with the ground right ;)

Since you live in ny and you don't have a winter car yet which I highly suggest(subi all the way for me). I would have a winter set and a summer set like I did last winter.

How quickly?

What wheel size are folks talking about here? If I am correct from other post readings and general tire/wheel knowledge - rim size makes a difference here, as well as tire type, with 17 inchers likely to wear tread faster than 16 inchers.

My question - Just bought a used 05 ES330 which has the 17 inch alloys on it. Dealer will put new tires on for me as per the Lexus precertified requirements for tire tread wear. I am not sure yet what they standardly replace with, but I know the original new 05 ES's come with option on the 17 inch wheels of either an all-season or a summer tire. Does anyone have comments in general of tread wear with the usually supplied summer tire vs all-season, and with 16 inch vs 17 inch wheels? I am in Boston, so kind of have to ask for the all-seasons (unless I opt for a seperate set of snows for the winter).

I'll be putting on either Yoko's or Goodyear Triple Treads on my 2005 ES when the time comes. The OE Bridgestone Turanza's are complete garbage on anything except dry pavement.
