Trans fluid question Help

I just changed the filter&gasket and the fluid in my 92 ES300. I bought the parts from Kragen auto parts store. I asked the guy which fluid type and he told me to use Vavoline ATF+4 fully synthetic,so i ended up buying and putting in 3 quarts. I was wondering if this fluid type is okay to use or do i have to drain the fluid back and refill with something else?
