Again, I listed the model number information for the Metra dash kit and the wiring harness for the ES300 in the following forum:

Hope this helps some of you.

Lexpusher, thanks alot for the harness info. I called all over today and nobody has them in stock, they'll have to special-order so it'll take about a week; but still better than hard-wiring.

Balzak, get ahold of someplace that carries Metra and they should order it for you if it's not in stock. Your local Circuit City should be able to get it for you if you don't find it elsewhere.

Steve, I followed your directions and I sucessfully replaced my old deck with a new one from ebay! Everything went pretty smoothly except for removing the vents. I became so frustrated I almost paid Lexus $50 to do the job....but I love my money too much for that. Then I took it to CarToys and they lied to me and said that they would have to remove the whole dash and this would cost $45. So basically I got pist at the dash and kept prying at the upper corners with a flat head wrapped in tape and wouldn't you know it....off it came!! Thanks again for the write up buddy, it couldn't have been done better!!!

My wiring harness is on backorder. 4 weeks of waiting and it's still not here. Sorry, had to vent a little, I'm getting real sick of the stock radio, I've never gone this long without decent tunes.

Yeah, I went from a full system in my last car to 4 months of a stock radio in the Lexus; the CD player would be an improvement while I'm working on the rest of the install.
