What is the best way to go about fixing the heated seat on a 97 ES300?

Default What is the best way to go about fixing the heated seat on a 97 ES300?

Is there a cheaper do it your self method? I heard it was very expensive, my brothers 97 ES 300's driver seats heater stopped heating, any thoughts?

If you have the basic knowledge of circuitry and Lexus wiring, you could take the seat out, the unit out and rewire it yourself, or just take it out and check to make sure it works.

I was told the heating element goes out on those things?
