My Drivers seat switch reclines the seat but wont bring it back to the upright position. Is there any way to override it manually? or anyway to get it back in the upright position?

I have an appt. at the dealearship in the morning but they're expensive no matter how small the fix. And I'm thinking it cannot be the motor because it is working as far as reclining the seat.

I will sincerely appreciate any help.

The switch is bad more than likely. As you said the motor is good because it works in one direction. All the switch does is reverse polarity for each direction.
