which hose is power steering return hose?

I would like to do my own power steering fluid flush this weekend based on this technique: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t19334.html

However, I can't tell which hose on the power steer reservoir is the return hose to drain the old fluid out from. There are two hoses on my 95 ES300, one closer to the firewall and one closer to the front of the car. I believe the one closer to the firewall is SLIGHTLY higher up on the reservoir and this may be the return hose, but I'm not sure. Can someone confirm?

Also, my car is pretty old and the hoses look a bit fragile. Any concern about causing a leak messing with these hoses? Should I just suck out the old fluid and refill a few times rather than do a full flush? The fuild looks dark and I can't remember the last time it was changed, so I would prefer to do a flush.

The hose with the spring clamp is the return hose
The bigger hose with the union bolt is the Pressure hose.

If you dont get too violent, you can reuse the hose(s), just check for leaks after youre done, and if you disconnect the pressure hose, use a new O-ring.

On my car, they both have spring clamps and both hoses look to be about the same size. Any ideas?
