bypass the O2 sensor

Default bypass the O2 sensor

Hey all, my o2 sensor failed like month ago and i am not going to replace it anytime soon. so is there a way that i can bypass the o2 so the check engine light will go off?? Pheonix??

O2 simm-- if you get a schematic you can make one pretty cheap-- it just needs to be in a sealed weatherproof box-- OR-- under the carpet in the kick panel of your car where the o2 sensor wires run--

OR--

There are many generic bosch 02 sensors sold for around 40 bucks-- and you just splice the wires to your factory plug-- in other words they come with bare wires that need to be mated to a plug--

You just need to determine what type of sensor (2 wire/3 wire) and what the thread type is--

The rest is cheap and easy--

The fuel mileage decrease is worth replacing them though-- They can pay for themselves in a years time--

ALSO-- FINALLY--

You can try to remove it and clean it -- it could just be throwing a code due to carbon buildup in the tip of the sensor-- That's a cheap trick--
