Wetsanded my fog lenses today!

Then I used 3M rubbing compound on them followed by Meguiar's PlastiX. There's still some imperfections but I don't mind as much since it's the fog lights. I'll make sure I get everything perfect for the HID retrofit. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...n/CIMG6742.jpg I don't like how the projector looks weak behind the vertical lines on the lens. I might sand down the lines directly in front of where the fog projector will be. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...n/CIMG6740.jpg 100 watt H3 bulb output with no lense in front. It does look brighter than the stock bulb. I'm worried about stuff getting hot though. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...n/CIMG6717.jpg A mock up of what I want it to look like. Now to answer some questions. The strut bar was for a Camry but it fits 99-03 Solaras and 97-01 ES300's. I got the clear corners on Ebay as well but I took the amber off the bulbs. Thanks for the comments guys! |
:) Looks very nice!!!
I'm looking for the 92-94 fogs for my 95...are they a direct replacement? Also about how much did you pay for the pair? |
The yellow fogs should be a direct fit onto any '95-'96 ES. A member here (juan01) did this mod on his '96 ES. Do a search under his name and you should find some pics of his ES.
