My 2006 ES330 just turned 62,500 this past weekend as I changed it's tranny fluid out again. I firmly think this thing will last as long as any of my Honda's, or I should say, any of my older Honda's. I need to start driving my 1994 Accord...it has over 360,000 miles and hasn't really been driven over a couple of thousand miles over the past couple of years since I got a newer car for the wife.

I have 2003 ES300 with 200,000 miles, original transmission & radiator & engine. Planning to put in $3000 over 6 months for maintenance: change all fluids (brake, power steering, drain fill transmission), followed by 4 new tires, allignment, front 2 strut change + all spark plugs, timing belt kit + water pump+coolant+ drive belt+power steering belt + ac belt. With these change I hope to drive another 5 years or another 50,000 miles. What do you think of my plan?

My previous car, toyota corolla lasted 270,000 miles, and was sold still working, so I don't see why not on a Lexus.

Well, I sold my 2004 ES 330 with 133k, TB service done, fluids maintained and transmission drain/fills, for around 4k. Could have gotten a little more but there were some dents and got a good price on the LX. For between 1-3k (factoring trade value) more than the 3k you could have a car with a lot less miles on the suspension and other components. But I also understand if you get attached to the car - I loved my ES and would have kept it if I could afford two cars.

My dad has now owned his 2004 ES330 for about 16 months. I think the mileage is now around 24,500.

Bought a 2001 ES in January with 193k, and it just passed 207k. So far so good, except having to replace the front oil control valve a couple months ago.
Also after I got an OBD dongle, I noticed the transmission temperatures were a little unnerving, maxing out at like 115C on the highway. My mom's RX300's transmission (also a U140E) died a couple years ago, so to be prudent, I threw on on a B&M 70264 transmission cooler and it rarely hits 100C nowadays.

I have a 2002 ES300 with 257,000 miles. never had issues and still on original transmission. always kept up on service. the only issue right now is a sound in the suspension. I had changed the struts and sway bar links 8 months ago. Now this sound comes up when on uneven ground. Took it to a shop because I could figure it out. They couldn't either... so any ideas? It is in the front end and sounds like to driver side. Sounds like a loose part... a sway bar or control arms, but all looks good as far as I can tell.

Did you replace the Strut mounts as well? If so, using anything other than Toyota/Lexus can cause some noise issues. Also sway bar bushing can cause knocking noise on bumpy road.

I hit 200,000 on my 1999 ES 300 about a month ago. I just don't think it will ever die. Trying to figure out what I can do to it just to trick it out. it's still my daily driver. sold my 96 LS400 last year for the family vehicle 03 gx470

I bought my 2003 ES300 just a little over a year ago with 277k miles on it. Just last week it turned over 300,000. I'm looking forward to many more smooth running miles.

I have a 2004 es330 with 145,000 miles. Car runs great. My amplifier is broken and I don't want to spend the money to get it replaced and the back windows don't roll down anymore. I think the suspension needs work as well, there's a clicking sound going over some bumps. Hope to reach 300k in another 10 years as my daily driver.

I put 387,000 miles on my 97 ES300, original engine. Had a coolant leak and my mechanic said it was time. Engine runs as quiet as new.
