Spraying Fuel
Probably a fuel injector unseated, and/or a fuel injector O-ring deteriorated. There's only one rubber fuel hose on a returnless system & it's on the driver's side.
I would just about never buy a brand new fuel injector. They're like $100-200 bucks OEM. The failure rate is so low too. If you can find a used set (like on ebay, or a junkyard call around), they normally are nearly worthless used.
Just a thought if you're low on cash.

It turns out that there was a screw or something similar loose on the fuel rail. My mechanic fixed it and the car is back to running like a champ.
