Default Which gas you put in your ES300?

Guyz,

I want to know what kind of gas(reg/plus/premium) you put in your ES and the pros and cons etc of putting low/hi octane rating.

The manual suggests to put premium fuel but it might be good too what experts say.

if possible please put Year and kind of Gas in your replies.

Regular more often than not. I'll put premium in when the weather's hot and I'm putting the ES under the strain of beltway traffic, full blast AC, and 95F+ heat/humidity. I may mix in half a tank of premium if there's a good price at a particular station. The car runs substantially better with premium, but I rarely rev it past 3k anyways.

Oh yea, mine's a '96. Usually exxon/mobil, Chevron/Texaco, or shell. (The top tier guys, Exxon's okay)

North Potomac, just off the beltway and I-270. I'm glad that internship was just over the summer cuz I couldn't stand the hour-long commutes coming home. I remember I took the ES to work because the Bimmer X3 was sucking up about 2 gallons of gas a day just for my commute!

I live in Upper Marlboro, MD and I used to work in McLean, VA. Morning traffic wasent too bad cuz I left really early but the afternoons sucked. I was defintely sucking up a lot of gas up on that commute.

I use regular gas 87 octane, 1997 ES300 with 93,000 miles and it runs great on it.
