Trunk light mod problem.
 

I did the trunk light mod where you add some cold cathodes to the top lid by the speakers. Man what a difference. The only problem is I went to a hotel and the bellhop slammed my luggage in there and broke one of them to pieces. I didnt notice until days later. There has to be a better way to mount them where they wont get damaged so easy. I may try tucking them up in the back deck somehow. Any way just wanted to pass that on.

If you can actually just find something to cover them, say a couple of 3" strips of lexan bent 90* in the middle as sort of a "sneeze guard" only for your lights against the cargo, you'd be gold.

Did that mod in the Miata and my ES, HUGE difference. Put 'one in the area by the sub, and the other in the bend behind the license plate in the trunk lid. Looks great.

lol mine already fell off. I guess the adhesive that came with teh cathodes wasnt strong enough or theres too much bass in the trunk.

I just left it on the side of the trunk. too lazy to remount them.....

where can i research/see that mod? it sounds cool
