Hi, I am trying to find lexus part numbers for air fuel ratio sensors of a 1998 ES 300 with california emissions. I want to replace bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. I found some sensors at oxygensensors.com but I want to crossreference them. Thanks

P.s. : Is bank 2 sensor 1 on the drivers side or passangers side?

Oh yes and one other thing when I looked for different air fuel ratio sensors for my car I found ones that say California only and then others that say All 50 states? The car is originally from cali, so I'd need the ones that say california only correct?

your engine is tranversly opposed meaning it runs from wheel to wheel not front to back, so there is "no driver side and passenger side". Stick with "front side and rear side", "front bank and rear bank".

Bank 1 Sensor 1: found in the rear bank (between engine and firewall). This is the upper AF ration sensor between the exhaust manifold and the cat. This is the hardest one to get at. Do it when the motor is cold.

Bank 2 Sensor 1: found int he front bank (between the radiator and the engine). You can see this one when standing in front of the car and the hood is open. This is the upper AF ratio sensor between the exahaust manifold and the cat. You may have to remove the inlet of the air box to get at the connector. This is the easiest to replace.

Funny, I have never seen "cali" disclaimers on any listing for AF sensors.
