96 es330 fuses

My friend has a 96 es330 and a fuse blew... neither the temperature controls or stereo work. I was going to get a new fuse tomorrow.. can anybody tell me where the fuse box is located?

Does your friend have a '96 ES300 or '06 ES330? There's no such thing as a '96 ES330. In any case, the owner's manual for your friend's ES should state where the fuse box is located. Most likely it's under the hood.

My bad.. it's a '96 ES300.. I got that one mixed up. I guess the entire center console is out. Is there a fuse box around the dash on the driver's side interior? Or is it all under the hood?

Thanks for your help.

it's probably the "15" fuse for the radio located right under the dash, the cover is a couple of inches below the mirror controls. It happened to me one time while i was on the road. I plugged in a faulty cell phone charger into the cig lighter and the 15 fuse for the radio blew. The climate control went out as well.

So anyway -- right under the mirror controls, above the hood release. it's labeled "fuse", pulls right out.

Refer to the owners manual, my inside fuse box is behind the coin holder, tilt it out and remove. The fuse removal tool should be in the underhood fuse and relay box.
