Pheonix, thanks for the info. I was able to get the car off to another mechanic, the guy who initially did the valve stem seals etc on the car, he agreed to take it. I told him to specifically put NGK's or DEnso's in it. I shall tell him to do the diagnostics as you propose. The previous guy, has wiring tapped into the O2 sensor, the TPS wires, etc.

Again I really appreciater the help, I shall keep you posted on the progress.
